1) On the event page, I want to be able to add a date TBA – in other words publish the event, but with hold the date until it’s been confirmed. However, I can’t seem to enter text. 2) On the venue page, I want to be able to duplicate a venue – but can’t see any option for this. 3) On the event registrations (check in) page, is the colour coded field to the left of the ID supposed to not show? It only shows on my installation when I hover over it. 4) What is your recommendation for a multi-country event in terms of using multiple currencies at the checkout? e.g. display US $ for events in USA and UK £ for British events, and Euro for other ? Thanks! |
Hi Sol, What version of Event Espresso are you currently using? — |
|
|
Hi I am using the latest Version 4.4.5.p (LATEST) |
|
Hi, 1) While we may at some stage allow events without dates, this is not currently possible. All events must have applicable dates. 2) There is no duplicate button for venues. 3) That’s correct, the colour code is designed to give you an at a glance idea of the status, with the hover legend (the legend is also below the list of attendees) providing a reminder of the colour’s meanings. 4) We are re-writing the gateway system and this is something that we are considering for the future though nothing is set in stone just yet. Currently the plugin can only handle one currency at a time, so I would suggest advising potential customers of the the approximate cost in their local currency in the event description. Most payment gateways can handle purchases in converting costs from the set currency into the registrants local currency, but you would need to double check this with your selected payment gateway. |

Hi Dean Thanks for the update. 1) please add this as a feature request – or at least some kind of TBA option |
|
Hi, 1 and 2) done 3) On the Event Check-In tab it should look like this http://take.ms/CmsnNp 4) In theory yes as all the text should be translatable, though we are still looking into proper WPML integration directly with the WPML team. As such there may be some inconsistencies with multi lingual translations. |

Hi 3) I also see this, but on hover next to the left X (next to line 1 of 1) then the status shows, but it seems hidden and must be discovered… why is the status color not permanently on display like e.g. woocommerce order. (apologies tried a screenshot but the awesome screenshot app failed) |
Hi Sol, The status bar should always be on display. When I go to the check-in list I see this – http://take.ms/epfq6 So to confirm you do not see those bars unless you hover over the status section? |

Hi this is the screenshot of what I see |
Hi Sol, According to your screenshot, those registrations are all pending payment. — |

Oh now I see – the thin blue line is actually the status colour !!! Right – I was expecting a box – much like you see in woo commerce….. I thought the blue line was something part of WordPress or some kind of style thing. OK well, problem solved for me… maybe you would consider changing it to a box (like the legend display) rather than a thin blue line =) |

Hi Sol, Glad you got it figured out and ye sI do understand that it isn’t intuitive. I’ll pass your feedback on. |
