I’m testing our registration process and have run into two problems:
1) Custom message templates are being completely ignored – the emails all use the default templates. The custom questions
2) During registration, we have one required paid ticket and optional free tickets. On the reg submit page, it only shows one free ticket instead of multiple (if more than 1 was chosen, which I am definitely doing for testing).
Also, I think I messed up the ability to have multiple attendees – I replaced the questions but registrant names for everything shows the primary name only.
I figured out how to get custom templates working on a per event basis. Y’all should consider improving your documentation, the wiki is lacking & feels unorganized.
The big issue here then is that registrations are not showing the names of multiple attendees – only the primary registrant. How can I fix this? I had assumed that customizing the questions for attendees would not have affected that.
Hi, the names of the additional registrants will only appear as entries in the registrations overview table within your WP dashboard if you enable the personal question group for additional registrants. This can be done through the event editor.
Collecting the names through a custom question cannot be substituted for collecting them through the system questions for first name, last name, and email. This is because system questions are used to populate the information that is shown in the registrations overview screen within your WP dashboard.
