Following up on this issue: https://eventespresso.com/topic/404-error-permalinks/

Now that I have the WP_Debug_log can you help me identify what is happening. I’m still seeing the 404 error 1-2 times per week. How should I send you the log?

Hi there,

The log file is publicly accessible so I’ve downloaded a copy to review, I recommend you delete the current log file (leave the WP_DEBUG_LOG code in place within wp-config.php for now).

Next, add this to your site:

https://gist.github.com/Pebblo/fd47c19d038ec7b5ce0aa397ba2aacc4

You can add that to a custom functions plugin on your site, we have some documentation on creating one here:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-site-specific-plugin-wordpress-site/

Does that help at all?

To explain what I’m seeing in the logs, All in on SEO is calling to flush permalinks on the wp-login.php request.

We don’t run EE on those requests as it does nothing during a login, so no need to run. The above snippet basically removes the check within EE for those login requests and allows it to run, which should mean that when AIO SEO flushes the permalinks are rules are there.
