Hi,
when we try to access /wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_registrations, we get error “403 Forbidden You don’t have permission to access /wp-admin/admin.php on this server.” It is not possible to make new registrations with following error on front-end: “An invalid response was returned from the server while attempting to process your request. Please refresh the page and try again or contact support.”
Everything else works fine. We did not do any changes when it stopped working.
Now we upgraded to latest Event espresso, did Reset Event Espresso Capabilities, turned off Wordfence, but nothing helped.

Hi there,
A 403 error like that would normally mean your site is hitting some form of security on the server, usually a mod_sec rule. The fact that nothing changed and you suddenly started getting the above would hint that the host added a new rule or enabled additional security that the request is now triggering.
The first step I would recommend is to open a ticket with your host and have them confirm of the above is happening. 403 errors are server side so the fix will more than likely be on their end.
