This update is not showing up in my plugins and I am nervous about doing a manual update. If I delete the plugin, and reinstall the new version will I lose all my previous customer information?
No you will not lose any of your information, although we recommend createing a database backup before running any updates (not just Event Espresso but any plugins/themes/WordPress updates) just to be safe.
The auto update should be showing up within your dashboard by now, if you go to Event Espresso -> General Settings do you see your license key within the field?
If so hit save on that page, this will force EE to recheck for any updates.
Then go back to Dashboard -> Plugins and see if the update now shows up.
