I have installed Event Espresso on a site for a client. Everything is good. Except, the client is complaining when he adds a new event, the initial start date is off. From what I can see, the default event start date is the day’s date plus 30 days. Example: Today is January 9th and the default start date is February 8th. Doesn’t seem like a huge deal to me. But, the client is insistent on the default being today’s date. I’m looking for through the plugin’s code to see if I can hook into something to change this. But, I have yet to find anything. Can anyone give me any help?

Hi there,

I checked into this and there actually isn’t a filter hook that allows for changing the default start date, which is set in
EEM_Datetime::create_new_blank_datetime(). That’s a filter we can add in a future version though.
