This is a follow-up to my post here (https://eventespresso.com/topic/nearly-200-message-for-2-registrations/ ) I thought I solved this but it turns out it’s not solved and the situation in now approaching crisis levels for us.
I have tried all the suggestions and even wp_mail with wpMandril and Easy_wp_mail and now I am with SMTP_mailer… no dice.
It’s clearly unacceptable to have hundreds of emails going to customers. Can you help me?

That’s not relevant. Have you tried clearing the queue (by deleting the messages) in messages Activity list table?

By the way. I had deleted all emails but there were some HTML docs in the queue. I deleted those too. Let’s hope for success.
