Hello, we have a few sites that do large group/corporate bookings. Due to the complexity of the events in each of the sites we typically give one ticket that can be scanned many times, which then allows us to bill the group based on how many scans were made OR allow a pre bulk purchase or attendee spots and this ensures the max.
I have seen this on the forums https://eventespresso.com/topic/attendees-max-out-at-127-how-do-i-fix-this/
So realize this is a limitation. What as not included is how to double it as stated OR how to remove the limitation.

Backup your WordPress site including the database.
Then login to the database through PHPAdmin and go to this table:
dbprefix_events_attendee
Change the value setting for the quantity column to unsigned.
This will raise the limit to 255.
