I am looking to run an event 100% by donation.
I don’t mean offering a menu of suggested amounts, or additional ticket options, but rather pure donation where the attendees decide how much to donate and have that amount passed to the cart for payment.
I imagine that this may require some customization, but maybe not. Can anyone help on this?

Hi there,
Event Espresso doesn’t have any ‘variable pricing’ functionality built-in, all tickets need to have a price set when creating the ticket so you’ll need some custom development to do the above.
As it heads up, this will not be an ‘easy’ feature to implement and likely require a significant amount of work.
If you are not currently working with a developer who can add this functionality for you, we recommend the folks at codeable.
