Good morning. I am having the same issue. Could you please share the solution? The button seems to show up in Firefox, but not in Safari.

Thanks,
Geoff

Hi Geoff,

Could you also share a link to any event?

I have not seen this with default WP themes so it appears to affect some themes.

Hi Lorenzo,

Here is a link to our homepage: http://www.mcaepa.org

You will notice that the ical button in the widget display doesn’t show any image when viewed with Safari, but shows a calendar icon when viewed with Firefox. Also, when the icon is clicked and the event is added to ical, I seem to get all of the information imported to the event (date, location, etc.) except the event title. Maybe you could suggest a solution for this as well?

Thanks for the help!

Geoff

Hi, I was able to duplicate the ical issue on a test install using different web browsers.

I’ve created a report for the development team to review and I’ll update this support post once I have more information

Hi Geoff,

We’ll also need to review the summary field. Right now it’s pulling the event description, but I see that in Event Espresso 3 the summary field would send the event name.
