Hi cheers |
Hi David, Are you running caching or security plugins? If you view the registrations within the admin do they stay ‘Incomplete’ or do they show as ‘Complete’? If you go to wp-content/uploads/espresso/logs/ You should find paypal.ipn_results.log, in there do you see any errors that may shed some light on this? |

Hi thanks for the reply. |
Are you using EE3 or EE4? |
|
|
ee4 |
Are you using any caching or security plugins on the site? Does it happen on a specific event or all your events? Which version of EE4 are you currently running? |
|
|
not using any caching or security plugins this the first paying event we’ve done Version 4.4.3.p |
In EE4.4.4.p we fixed some Paypal IPN validation issues with tickets that have a single quote within their name. Do any of your tickets have single quotes/apostrophes? Either way I would recommend updating to the latest version (currently 4.4.5.p) using the auto update feature. Be sure to make a full site backup before doing so (files and database) just to be safe. |

thanks how do I use the autoupdate feature? |
Hi, you should be prompted to update via WordPress admin (WP dashboard) –> Plugins –> Event Espresso. A manual update will also take you to the current software: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/updating-event-espresso/#update_manually — |
