All of my events are showing Current Status as not open. Is this have something to do with the register formula? Where and how do I resolve this?

Hi Barry,

Installing the Recurring Events Manager (REM for short) in itself does not alter any of your event details so I’m assuming this is a new ‘series’ created?

Can you go to the first event created from that series and either post the date’s you have used within the ‘Event Date/Times’ & ‘Recurring Events Manager’ sections, or post up screenshots so we can see how the events are current set up please?

It is likely the choice made for this option – http://take.ms/43dDs combined with the dates used, although if you can provide the above details we can explain further how to set this up.

I have loaded a sample of an event that I created in Recurring

So I started messing around with one of the events that says not open and by adjusting the registration date to go up to the day that the event is the event became open. So what’s up with this whole formula thing? Is there something I’m missing. Does the formula take the amount of days that you set for the first Registration period and create the formula from that and add it to each added event? Or is there a place I can set it up to be a specific amount of days or always open?

Hi,

I had a look at your example here:

http://jabstudio.com/sample.jpg

Those dates are for November so the events would not appear open for registration until that time.

Is there way to make the Registration open all of the time for upcoming events?

Edit the registration start time to today’s date and save changes in the event editor. Then repeat this for any other events.

Does that mean I have to go into every event individually and set the registration time? Doesn’t that defeat the whole purpose of me purchasing and using the recurring event plugin? Shouldn’t there be something that allows open registration on all?

Hi Barry,

Go to the first event in the series,, and change the registration start date, then in the red box tick the All events in this series and it will update all events with that registration date http://take.ms/iId2G

Also you Registration Starts On date needs to be changed to match when the registration starts as it is out of sync currently.
