We have users signing up for EE events and they payment is going through paypal and we get a confirmation of approved payment but the user does not show up on the attendee list for that event. This has been happening randomly… would appreciate some help- thanks in advance
You might want to turn on full logging under EE->General Settings. It will create a log file under uploads/espresso/logs/espresso_log.txt. What I would suspect is happening is the user is registering one person and instead of using the link on paypal’s site to return to your site, is using the browsers back button or history to return to the registration page to register a second person. This will overwrite the first registration. If it is the case, then the log will show that pattern. If not, then the log will give clues as to what is happening, and will also give you all the registration info on the missing person.
