Hi,
we are interested to buy event expresso but we really need the volume discount add on that we can not see as available addons anywhere in the site. so is it still available ?
if so what is the cheapest licence i need to use multi event registration and volume discount addons ?
to be more especific, this would be a more clear example of the event/workshops we will offer and the different price and volume discounts we will offer:
friday
9am to 11am
Intro to cooking
Advanced cooking
Expert cooking
pasta making
creative sushi
Indian Curry
11am to 13pm
Intro to cooking
Advanced cooking
Expert cooking
pasta making
creative sushi
Indian Curry
saturday
9am to 11am
japanese soups
food photography
home beer brewing
korean cooking
african cooking
11am to 13pm

16pm to 18pm

So all workshops are 2 hours long and people can either :
– buy one workshop for 10 euros
– make a selection of 4 from this list to make a 4 workshop package that would cost 30 euros
– make a selection of 8 from this list to make a 8 workshop package that would cost 50 euros
– we could even sell packages by themes. for example indian cooking bundle where all indian workshops are included
I want to make this happen very clear and if possible in only one page
only list each workshop once with different times it gets repeated
is it possible to do this with event espresso?
how ?
is it not possible to try volume discount add on before i purchase ?
is there a money back if this does not work for me ?
by chance do you know any other webs with similar type of scenario so we can check ?

Hi,
Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.
The Volume Discount plugin is still available for EE3, it is a Beta release plugin so is not on our main website pages, but is accessible to anyone with an Event Espresso EE3 licence (Personal, Business or Developer).
The cheapest licence for your needs would be the Business Licence, or you could buy the Personal Licence and Multiple Event Registration as a separate addon (the Business licence is still better value as you get more addons thrown in).
However, Volume Discount will NOT do what you are planning as there can only be a single discount set. So you could set it so 4 events gets a discount OR 8 events, but not both.

Not by default. If you have an event for each day/timeslot it will be separately listed. It might be possible with the Recurring events and the special template that come with it: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/drop-down-list-recurring-events/

Event Espress 4 might be a better option. While it doesn’t have the volume discount system (or any discount system currently), you could create an event with multiple date times (Fri and Sat) and multiple chocies per date time, including an option to bundle tickets. The only issue I can forsee with this is that it might not handle bundled tickets over different datetimes well, if you want to limit capacity.
