Hi,

I’m getting the same problem with the Event Espresso and other plugins not wanting to upgrade:

There is a new version of Event Espresso available. View What’s New with version 3.1.33.2P. You need a valid Site License Key to enable automatic upgrades. Your current membership level does not allow automatic upgrades on more than one domain. Please log into your account to manage your Site License Keys or purchase a support license now.

I’ve tried re-pasting in the licence key in the general settings panel, to no avail.  Will I need key a reset?  No rush as I only installed version 3.1.33 very recently.

Also, when I update will I loose my events and settings or all the plugins?

Cheers,

Tom

That should read “will I lose my events and settings For all the plugins?” (Ticketing, Mailchimp and the other plugins that appear to want updating.)

Hi Thomas,

I reset the key for you. Remove it from General Settings, ave add it back and save.

No, updates will not cause you to lose events or other data. Occasionally an update will reset some settings, but this is quite rare.

If you modify any of the Event Espresso files or templates then those changes will be lost on update. Template changes can be saved by copying the template files to the wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates directory and modifying them there.

Hi Dean,

Thanks, that was super fast!  I did a mysql backup and then a backup of all the WordPress files via ftp (as I had to modify an Espresso file in order to get Mailchimp Integration working)

New license key works and I did 4 of the plugin updates – except 2 which don’t work – the main Event Espresso plugin and Members Addon plugin.

I just get:

Download failed. Service Unavailable

Maybe because you’re currently updating these?

Thanks,

Tom

Hi,

NO we are not (to my knowledge) updating anything currently. Odd that some work but others dont. What I will do is recreate your licence key. Please do as before but get the new key from your admin page here at eventespresso.com.

Let me know if that does or doesnt work.

Hi,

OK thanks, it works.

Did that and both the Event Espresso and Members Addon plugins updated successfully.

Wierd.

Also, thankully the Mailchimp List Integration seems to still be working without throwing up error as before.
