Hi team EE,
I have set up Invoice payment. but i notice it display unknown button in the invoice payment section. i have tried to figure out what does this button do. but it doesn’t do anything, i have checked admin email, registrant email, nothing. could you explain me what this button does? how to edit the text in it section? is there a setting that i missed?

Hi Mark,
The button finalises the registration and clears the users session. If they don’t click the button and then come back a little while later it is possible that they could over write their initial registration if their session is still active.
As such it is important that they click the button to finalise the process.
After clicking it should send the user to the payment overview page.
I ran a test registration (2 actually, one was in error, sorry about that), and it seems to be functioning fine.
Changing the wording can be done via the language files (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/) or via a plugin such as Quick Localization (our “domain” is event_espresso )

Hi Dean,
well i think that button supposed to be a button to send a notification to admin that the user has pay via bank transfer. and admin has to update the payment to “completed” status. i guess..

Hi Mark,
No it, merely finalises the registration. No notification is sent for payment for offline gateways as it isn’t processed online.
