Hi there,
I have a client asking me to create a website with a
- unique registration code
- payment ability using paypal/credit cards
- consent waiver agreement form
And I want to use this in conjunction with a wordpress theme.
I was looking at using Event Espresso as a plugin with the wordpress site.
Will Event Espresso help meet my needs and Would i require EE3 or EE4? Also I’m not a developer by any means so I’m hoping it’s easy to integrate with the wordpress site.

unique registration code
Yes, each registration has a unique code (incremental starting at 1), though group bookings share a transaction.
In EE3, this code is randomised but shared in group purchases. There is no transaction code in EE3.
payment ability using paypal/credit cards
Yes in EE4, PayPal Standard (offsite), PayPal Pro (onsite) and Mijireh are available.
EE3 has a wider selection of gateways.
consent waiver agreement form
This can be created via questions and a separate page item.
Both EE3 and EE4 should meet your needs, though I would recommend EE4.
