Hi,

I need to know if EE is compatible with WPML.

If no, how can I let the client to change the language of the events, by clicking in the flag (english, italian, german, ect.)?

Thanks

Hi,

Formally, EE has no integration with WPML. Some users have apparently been successful in using WPML with EE3, but it has required a lot of tweaking. We have no information on how they achieved it.

EE4 has no formal integration either, but as it is Custom Post Type based it is more likely to be easier to integrate.

I’m afraid that there isn’t integration with WPML, given that it is a large distributed plugin. Also, it is uncomfortable to not be able to change language on the fly, like in the other pages/posts.

In my opinion, you should consider to integrate this plugin at 100% with your EE.

Hi Daniele, if you are asking about WPML theme compatibility – it is done by free. By theme authors should submit their themes to our Global Program.

For any WPML problems, as a customer you can create a ticket at the support forum (also for free).

If you have any specific custom requirements you can contact our WPML contractors http://wpml.org/documentation/support/wpml-contractors/

So, if I understood right, I give you my wordpress theme (with Event Espresso plugin) and you proceed to turn it for WPML?

Daniele, you must be the theme/plugin author and the theme/plugin has to be meant for public usage. You can read more details here:
http://wpml.org/documentation/theme-compatibility/go-global-program/
or don’t hesitate to use the contact form on the page to ask further detail questions.
