Hi,

Have tried using the ‘Quick Localization’ plugin (as suggested in a previous thread) to change certain terminology but it does not work at all.

We want to change the following:

Ticket = Place
Tickets = Places
Event = Course
Events = Courses

Any ideas?

Hi Sam,

Regarding the Events terminology, you can change the events Custom Posts Type slug so instead of http://www.whatever.com/events/ could be http://www.whatever.com/courses/

Changing the wording will be more work, because you cannot just change Ticket to Place and all instances of Ticket be changed.

Instead each phrase containing Ticket must be changed. For example:

Ticket Price Breakdown

You would need to change the whole phrase in Quick localisation to Places Price Breakdown. Screenshot http://take.ms/738MU

It is probably going to be easier to use the language files and Poedit as you can search for the word Ticket / Event and change the strings accordingly. Here’s a guide https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-change-wording-with-poedit/
