Hi,
I’m running WP 3.9.1 with EE 4.3.0.beta.024 and just configured a basic event. However the surcharge is not shown in the itemized ticket listing, but rather is added to the price before the fact.
Each of 4 unique tickets is configured to charge a Service Charge of $40.
What actually shows is the total price (surcharge included) as the base price. Clicking the + reveals a base price of $800, a Service Fee with nothing listed next to it, and then a grand total of $800. So it’s adding the surcharge into the base price, which it should not, and then failing to show it in either the itemization or the grand total.

This should be fixed as of Beta 4.4.0. The price will still include the surcharge but it will be listed in the breakdown. Screenshot http://take.ms/EPjb8
