Sorting courses within a category

I am creating a page for each category of courses using the short code:
[EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”la”]

I need to sort those by the course name and have tried:
[EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY event_category_id=”el” order_by=event_name]

With no results. Can you please tell me the correct short code?

Hi,

Use EVENT_LIST instead – https://eventespresso.com/wiki/shortcodes-template-variables/#event-list

With EVENT_LIST you can still specify a category but also use the order_by parameter (EVENT_ESPRESSO_CATEGORY does not support order_by)
