Hi! I’m probably going to have to use v4 since it has alot of the features my client require and since I’m a developer I will be using any available hooks etc. for their other needs. There are however a few questions I’d need answer to: 1. I read here: https://eventespresso.com/topic/can-registrant-register-themselves-and-up-to-20-others-inputting-all-names/ that you have a beta add-on called price modifier which’ll let the price of tickets be modified by specific parameters (like a checkbox for adding lunch to the ticket). Will this be released to v4 and if so is there a possible date for the release? 2. I can’t find any documentation on what hooks are available besides the “hundreds of hooks” text.. We will most likely have to fix it so that both the person making a booking as well as any extra participants this person filles in are also registered as wp_users (subscriber most likely) and are able to come back to a booking to edit information. This would also include the possibility to prefill form fields for logged in users, have them update if the user changes/fills in information etc. My question is if either this is all covered by the wp_users add-on and if so if one can speed up the development of that by donating towards it? And if it’s not if you know that this could be achieved from custom coding using the hooks and filters available? |

Hi, 1) I don’t believe that the plugin itself will be ported over, but it may well be included in other add ons that get created. As such no, we don’t currently have a date for a release. 2) We don’t have full documentation in respect to the available hooks so you may simply want to run a search, but we do have http://code.eventespresso.com/ which has listed everything with a docblock. We do accept sponsored development, you can send a request via this form and some one will get back to you to discuss it in more depth – https://eventespresso.com/contact/customization-request-form/ If you have any more questions, please just let me know. |

Thank you for a quick response.. 1. Okay, so I suppose they’ll have to setup different tickets for the time being. Or possibly if this could be developed by myself using hooks 🙂 2. You say search which to me implies that there is a way for me to search specifically for hooks (or atleast something like “add_action”) in the entire plugin at once? Forgive my ignorance but if so, what’s the solution to be able to do so? I’m using coda texteditor and I don’t think it’s supported there (except of course for per file search). |

Hi Jonathan, 1) It could possibly be developed yes. 2) I’m a PC user so never used Coda, but I use Sublime Text 3 which has the ability to search through all files. I’ve heard Coda is a popular choice, so I assume it’s possible. This might help https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/coda-users/8mx9mcGUrjI |
