( 1 ) Have you a showcase of sites utilizing EE4? Or another means to preview possible end results? ( 2 ) Does the EE4 roadmap include promotional discounts, wait lists and grid layout? ( 3 ) I read in a prior thread that Ajax can prove problematic for this plug-in. I also reviewed this thread:https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/#themes ( 3a ) Does there exist a forum thread within which users report success (or lack thereof) with various themes. ( 3b ) Have any users had success with the Bridge theme? http://themeforest.net/item/bridge-creative-multipurpose-wordpress-theme/7315054 ( 4 ) And just to be absolutely certain, the “Multiple Dates and Times Per Event” is your solution to create recurring events? |

Hi Janice, Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso.
We have a showcase (https://eventespresso.com/showcase/), but not one specifically for EE4. You can check out our sandbox site for free over at http://demoee.org.
Promotional discounts are currently being made. Waitlists are on the roadmap but I cannot advise a timescale. Further templates and layouts may come in due course but they are likely to be much further in the future as we want to make more add ons available first.
Generally AJAX and JavaScript are not a problem so long as they are implemented correctly. Right now, some single page themes will cause issues with EE3 due to the dynamically created content. EE4 is more resilient due to it using custom post types, but can still have issues. We are looking into this in more depth in the future due to upcoming changes in WordPress.
There isn’t a specific forum, but adding it to the main forum is no problem, we can update our list accordingly from there.
I haven’t personally seen any issues come up from this theme (we generally don’t get told when a theme works, only when it doesn’t). However, we do get a lot more issues coming from themes purchased via Themeforest than other places, so it’s something to be aware of. Mainly the issues we get are bad JavaScript practices and modifying WordPress’ functions incorrectly (formatting particularly). Also as the theme is unlikely to create URL query strings it probably won’t work with EE.
No, the recurring events manager has still to be made. However you can happily use the “Multiple Dates and Times Per Event” in a similar capacity. |

I appreciate the quick response! I’ve gathered the following: 1. Showcase for EE3. If I’ve the gist of it, ticket resolved. Many thanks for the detailed answers! |
