Hello There,
I am web developer and am looking to implement an event booking module for a company that provides training courses from their training centre. Typically each of their courses is offered on a recurring schedule.
I would like to know if it is possible to configure EE 4 to display a different booking page, and calendar for each course. So if a customer clicks on a “book now” button (on a particular course page) they don’t then have to worry about selecting a course from a drop down.
Also is it possible to have a separate calendar for each course so a customer can view all the dates for one course rather then one generic calendar that shows all courses on it?
Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso. I would recommend test driving the plugin, which can be done from here: http://demoee.org
This should give you a better feel for how we process registrations and to see if it will fit in well with your set up.
I am assuming that each course will actually contain multiple events?
The basic process is that the person views the event (custom post type), and adds the number of tickets, and clicks a button, they then go to a checkout page where they add their details, choose a payment option and pay.
The calendar can be separated by using event categories. E.g. Course 1 gets the category FirstCourse and you can use the calendar shortcode to just show events from the FirstCourse category on the event.
I hope that helps, but if you have any other questions please just let us know.
