Hi,

I’ve recently set up EE for the first time on a theatre website. I’m loving the features and functionality. Great plug-in!

One small problem I’m having is setting up an event so that visitors can easily buy multiple tickets at different price levels. What I’m looking for is the ability for an individual to buy (for example) 3 tickets: 1 adult ticket at £3 and 2 child tickets at £2 at the same time. The buyer should only have to enter their name and email and not the contact details of the rest of the party. Is this possible?

I’ve tried setting up the different price levels on this event, but it’s insisting on asking for contact details for every member of the party and not allowing me to buy different priced tickets at the same time:

Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Cheers,
André

Hello Andre,

You will need to use the Multiple Event Registration add on here. Add the multiple price types to the event, and when the user clicks add to cart then view cart, they are shown the multiple prices and can select as many tickets as they please (dependant on the number set in the Max Group Registrants section of the event).

Also make sure that the Additional Attendee Registration info? in the event is set to No info Required.

Thanks for the speedy reply Dean!

We’ll give this a go and see how we get on.

Cheers, A.

Hi Dean,

We have given this method a go. I can get the “Add to Cart” appearing on the Event List (event_list_display.php) but this isn’t where we want the option to add to cart. Is there a way to add “Add to Cart” into the registration page? On the page I was testing this on the “Additional Attendee Registration” was set to “No info required” as you have mentioned above.

Do you have any ideas where it might be going wrong?

Cheers, A.

Hey Andre,

Sorry my bad I should have linked to this also

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/multiple-events-registration-use-add-to-cart-link-instead-of-default-registration-form/

That basically changes the registration form on the registration page and adds an Add to Cart link which you can make into a button via CSS or image.
