Rookie Question-How do I configure the events table template?

I am new to this, but I’m having a blast! I don’t know how to publish custom templates.

I would like to change my events list from the default format to a table using the events table template that came in the custom templates add-on. I FTP’d the the folder “events-table” into uploads/espresso/templates, but I don’t know what to do next. I don’t know how to activate the template. I would be grateful for any suggestions.

Hi,

OK, the Custom Tables add on is a plugin so install it like any other plugin. It does NOT need to go into the uploads folder unless you are planning to modify the files code, and event then you don’t need to add all the files there.

Once the plugin is installed, activate it and then on a page add the shortcode [EVENT_CUSTOM_VIEW], update/publish the page and go look at it.
