Resend Registration button

Silly question perhaps – but what does the “Resend Registration” button do on an attendee’s registration page?

I’m hoping it resends the Registration Approved message because I’ve changed the registration name and email, and now need to send a new RA message. But I’d hate for something else to send instead.
