Hi!

I’m having some strange problems with setting fields to required. I can apparently only set them to YES and even if I do so, the user stil can get passed the form without entering any information at all.

This is of course not how I want it, they have to be required to input info in the reuired fields…

What is wrong here?

Oh, I’m talking about the “Questions” and “Question Groups”. These questions are now in a special Question Group I created…

Hi,

We are not aware of any issues with the required fields.

It could, perhaps, be a conflict with another plugin or the theme. Have you tried disabling the other plugins to see if that has any effect?

Regarding the requiring on the front end, this is done via JavaScript, so if the user doesn’t have JavaScript enabled they will not be forced to answer the questions.

This can also be the case if there is a JavaScript error, but I checked the site we have for you on file (silviahemmet) and it all seems to be working fine.

I would recommend upgrading to the latest version of EE, it might fix the problem, but it will add more features and bug fixes in general.

I’m supporting another license for this. The website is skiproam.com. I experience the same issue as other users when filling out the form:

http://www.skiproam.com/traningslager-team-skiproam/

Can you see anything there?

Hi,

Yes there are a lot of 404 errors on that site, especially for the EE JavaScript files screenshot http://take.ms/ZiinE

Hi,

Generally a 404 error is simply that it is looking for something but it hasn’t been found. Renaming the EE plugin folder should not cause this, so I am currently unsure why this is occurring.

Can you disable all EE plugins and then reactivate them please?

Hi,

I did this and I still can pass trough without filling in anything. This is strange…

Hi,

Perhaps delete the plugin and reinstall it. It might be that somehow some files didn’t get installed correctly (a server hiccup could cause that).
