unfortunately, I’ve a problem with event registration. After clicking on the registration button, some of my events give back the error “We’re sorry, but your ticket selections could not be processed due to a server timing error. Please hit the back button on your browser and try again.”
After disabeling the bot trap, the error message changes to “An event id was not provided or was not received. Please click the back button on your browser and try again. The event id provided was not valid. You need to select a ticket quantity before you can proceed.”
The maximum ticket count per event registration is set to 1 in all events, so there is no selection field for ticket quantity. If I change it to e.g. 2, there is none of the above errors. But I’d like to keep it to 1. All newly created events have the same behaviour. There is no caching plugin installed.
Is this some kind of bug or did I broke my configuration somewhere?
A collegue of mine gave me a tip and I was able to solve the error.
We used a custom ticket selector template, the error was inside there.
