I’m setting up a new site with Event Espresso 4. When I log in as a test user and attempt to register for an event, I put in all the required fields, and click “Proceed to Payment Options”. The form is submitted, then all the fields are cleared and box pops up saying “An error has occurred: First name is a required field”.
This seems to be across the board with form submission, it’s exactly the same with the EE4 login box (if I set the event to require logins) – I put the correct username and password and it pops up “The following error has occurred: Missing a username Missing a password”.
I am using an https WordPress site, but I have dropped back to standard http and it’s exactly the same.
Just to add, I’ve tried disabling all plugins apart from EE4 and EE-WP Users. I’ve using EE 4.8.14.p and WP Users 2.0.7.p. WordPress 4.3.1-en_GB and theme Flat Responsive Pro.
It turns out it was a conflict with Flat Responsive Pro Theme. The theme was adding extra classes to all buttons and using its own form validation scripts which were conflicting with the EE ones. I’ve notified the theme developers.
