My client uses Event Espresso to sell his guided tours in Amsterdam online. This works great, except for when a customer books a tour and aborts before paying. The attendee gets registered with status pending and taking up a seat. This is a lot of extra work for my client, because he has to delete the attendee manually.
In the General Settings, check that the option “Default Payment Status (this value will be automatically filled in for each person’s payment status, until payment is made, for each event):” is set to Incomplete.
In the event editor make sure the option “Default Payment Status for Event: ” is set to either No Change (but general settings option must be Incomplete) or Incomplete.
Completed: Paid, space reserved
Pending: Not paid, space reserved
Incomplete: Not paid, space NOT reserved
