Questions fields displaying on Registration Email

We are receiving the email stating that the registration has been made and paid for. My question is we have one question that is not required to be filled in on our form. Should that question if not filled in at registration show up anyway in our email even if it is blank? It is not and we want to make sure that it is not an error. If it is filled in it displays in the email, if it is not filled in it doesn’t display in the email. Is this how it should be?

That is correct, if a question is not answered it wont appear in the email.
