Hi,
I have been waiting for the promotions add on for EE4 and was very excited to see that it was finally released! I was wondering if the add-on is able to perform the following function:
A client purchases a package of 10 tickets from us, in person, and pays a lump sum. We then give them a promo code that allows them to use the tickets for any events with the category “weekday Flying” but they can only use the code 10 times (since they purchased 10 tickets). FYI: We have 100’s of events with the category “weekday flying” in the database and I want my client to be able to freely choose any of them but limit the use of the code to 10 uses.
Also, will the code work with the multiple event registration add-on? As in, can they sign up for 4 events in the category “weekday flying” all at once and have the code apply to all of them?
thank you so much!

One more thing… When a registration is “Cancelled” will the use of the promo code also be reversed? As in, if the client used one of their 10 uses on a ticket and then wanted to cancel that ticket and change to a different ticket would they get that use back or would we have to manually add another use onto the promotion?
The promo codes are added on a per event basis but you can filter events by category and select all of them in that category.
Yes the code can be limited to 10 uses.
Yes the codes can be used with Multiple Event Registration as they are applied at the checkout.
Regarding cancellations, currently it would not affect the uses, so you would need to manually up the number of uses for the code.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
