I am using Version 4.2.4.reg and Calendar Version 3.0.0.reg
I am seeing this error when trying to register for one of my events when I click “proceed to payment options”. Other people that tried to register for my event made me aware of this because they couldn’t register.
An error has occurred:
No form data or invalid data was encountered while attempting to process the registration form.

I couldn’t work out what was wrong, it was also trying to charge me for 2 attendees when I selected 1 so I deleted the event and then recreated it. It worked yesterday but today it isn’t working. What is the problem? Yesterday was the cut-off for our registrations so they is very frustrating. The event is here:
I am also having a problem with the calendar, it is not displaying correctly. It was fine when I first upgraded to EE4 but now I’m thinking of going back to EE3 which worked great for me last month. I don’t have time to be trouble-shooting these issues.

Is this a problem of event espresso? Should I downgrade to EE3 which seems more stable?

Certainly, EE3 is not perfect, but it has been hammered on enough to be fairly stable. EE4 offers a stronger fundamental structure, and greater flexibility, but it has not had the stress testing that EE3 has had. Which you choose to use is entirely up to you, but the more mission-critical the site is, the more I would lean towards EE3 at this point.
