Hi,

This plugin works really well when members are registering properly. But when members enter their details, proceed to the confirmation page and don’t pay, they still appear in the attendee list.

I understand that they aren’t confirmed and that we get their contact details, but its causes issues as some members think they have registered and then they need to be chased up for payment. With many different events and lots of people it becomes really time consuming.

I read another post from July and noted that version 3.2 will make it clearer that people need to pay with a 3 step process. This looks great, but will there be any way of not adding non-payers to the attendee list or at least making it exceptionally clear that non-payers have not completed their registration.

Just to summarise, the concern is:
People thinking they are registered even though they haven’t paid, which leads to lots of phone calls / emails to follow people up. We’d like it to be clear as to what they need to do to complete the registration. And if they don’t, then they are clearly told they haven’t completed registration.

If there are any work arounds until 3.2 comes out I’d love to hear them.

Thanks in advance.

Brook

Hi Brook,

Thanks for the feedback, and it is something that has come up before. I am not sure if this will be part of 4.0 but I will certainly add a feature request regarding it.

Workarounds: none as such barring editing the templates to add in notices that they need to make payment to guarantee a place, etc.

Thanks Dean. What template do you recommend editing to add a notice about needing to pay to guarantee a place?

Hi,

The payment_page.php template would be the best choice in my opinion as this is the page where payment takes place.
