Hi,

I am a web developer based in India. I am developing a website in WordPress which has an event registration module in it. However, I am looking for a WordPress premium extension where I could implement the features that I want to have when a user registers for an event.

Here’s a brief overview of what I am looking forward to do –

I want the users to sign up for 5 different classes. While one class is a 8 hour class, the other 4 are 3 hour classes. The eight hour class is USD 399 while the 3 hour class is USD 129. I want-

1) if a user signs up for a 8 hour class, they can choose one 3 hour class for free.
2) If a user wants to sign up for an additional 3 hour class (after 8 hour and one free class), they are charged 99 USD for additional classes)
3) if a user wants to sign up for any two 3 hour classes, he gets a special price of 149 USD.
4) is a user wants to sign up for any three 3 hour classes, he gets a special price of 249 USD.

Is it possible to implement the above conditional logic and bill the user accordingly? Can your support staff help in setting this up for me?

Other things that I am looking forward to include is –
1) Customisable registration confirmation email. Want to be able to include text that speaks to cancellation policy, but also a hyperlink to a survey for all registrants to take in advance.

2) Waitlist: If course is full, add to waitlist. If a spot opens up, next person on waitlist automatically registered (would include text to this effect in the waitlist registration page). Or, have the system email the person and let them know that a spot is available and reserved for them for 48 hours. If they don’t take it, have it go to the next person. See zengofitness.com – they have a waitlist option where you are automatically added if a spot opens up.

3) Cancellation: Give registrants the option to cancel up to 5 business days in advance. Cancellation fee only if system charges for it.

4) Coupon codes: Ability to create different codes for different opportunities and of varying discounts. With expiration dates. Not unique to the individual.

5) Bring a friend option: If you register, you get a friend at X% off.

6) Affiliate links: Allow others to promote for me and share revenue. Not necessarily the same split with each affiliate.

Can you please reply back if the above functionality can be implemented with EventEspresso premium plugin for WordPress? Or can you/your support help customise the plugin to include the above features? If yes, what are the charges for the same?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Hi Anmol,

Regarding your basic setup, we do not have conditional pricing like what you need so without plugin customisation I would say we don’t fit your needs.

We do allow for pormotional discount codes and have a volume discount plugin, but nothing to the degree of logic you need.

Regarding your other queries:

1) Yes, currently all emails but the Admin email are editable.

2) We have a waitlist system, but it is not automated, it is up to the admin to re-assign attendees.

3) Cancellations can be applied by the admin at any point. Refunds are not handled by Event Espresso.

4) Yes, but the only lacking feature in an expiration date.

5) The volume discount add on could handle that, if set up correctly.

6) Not currently.

Event Espresso version for may answer some of your needs, but it is not currently released and may be some time before it is.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
