I am planning on putting course catalog and registrations online using Event Espresso. Here are my questions:
Thanks.

Hello Eugene,
The default is to have the events listed on a page, but on clicking the event title or register button the user is taken to a single event registration page with the full event information.
If the customer is purchasing an event that lasts for 6 weeks, you can advise in the content that it lasts for 6 weeks, but they will still see the start date. It is possible to modify the appropriate templates to allow customisation, such as including the end dates etc.
You can either manually add the dates in so you can seelct when the events occur, or use the automated system and afterwards delete the individual events on the dates which are holidays. |

I have a follow up question. I am using a wordpress plugin to generate PDFs from the contents of the website (pages and posts). However, as far as I can tell, the individual events are not regular posts or pages since they don’t appear in as a WordPress Page or a WordPress Post. (This is based on experience with the Event Espresso Lite plugin — perhaps the pay version is different). So, even though clicking on an event title will take me to a single event registration page, I cannot include that in my PDF document. Is there a way to make individual events be made into a post or can I use shortcodes to include contents from events in pages so I can construct my own WordPress Page from the event contents? I am this close to pulling the trigger on a purchase. |

Hi Eugene, Yes, in the premium version (any licence) you can generate a Post from the event, quite simply using an option in the event itself. There is also a custom post type available via the Custom Files add on. |
