We want to implement a ticket plugin in this situation:

– We will have multiple simultaneous events (we must also define the max number of tickets for each event)
– Only agents will sell tickets (after they register in site, we will give access to sell tickets)
– Website admin should be able to see how much tickets each agent sold in each event
– The plugin should be able to give us a list of tickets sold for that event (a print list or by an iphone/android app)
– Each ticket must have a different code so at the entrance of the event, so we can check if that ticket was already used or not on the event site.

Thanks

Different tickets for your event will have different codes that is sure. But sometimes it becomes hard to manage all the data after sales. So, I would recommend you to use a event software which might help your manage every data for your your event. I am also doing the same for my forthcoming digital marketing event which is to be held in December, 2013.

Hi Bruno,

Not a problem, Event Espresso can handle multiple events and limit the attendeance per event.

– Only agents will sell tickets (after they register in site, we will give access to sell tickets)

I am not 100% sure what you mean/how this works, but my gut feeling is that Event Espresso may not handle this. If it is only one agent per event then of course you can tell how many tickets got sold for the event, but there isnt a way to track who sold what. Bear in mind Event Espresso is an online registration system, so generally users will purchase the tickets themselves. If you are referring to a type of affiliate system, one isn’t in place yet, we are looking to integrate a basic affiliate system in 4.X.

– Website admin should be able to see how much tickets each agent sold in each event

See above.

– The plugin should be able to give us a list of tickets sold for that event (a print list or by an iphone/android app)

A list of attendees and their attendee registration number? YEs, these can be exported to xls/csv spreadsheets.

– Each ticket must have a different code so at the entrance of the event, so we can check if that ticket was already used or not on the event site.

Tickets are generated dynamically when someone purchases the ticket, and it will have their unique registration code.

I think that you are looking for a physical ticket product, one where X number of tickets are generated and printed out. Event Espresso does not do this.

If you have any more questions or need clarification, please just ask.
