Hi Guys – I have some presales question

1. does EE4 handle the ability to automatically email event registrants a few days before an event is on?

2. is there an option to have people pay by paypal but also choose ‘pay by invoice’ – so multiple payment options?

3 – is there any way that EE4 knows if a user has filled in the registration form but doesn’t pay (so abandons the paypal checkout process)? And if so, is there a way to set up automatic email to a person to hasn’t paid to remind them to pay?

Hi Sofia,

1) Scheduled mails are not currently available.

2) Yes. You can set it so there are numerous payment options. Currently this is site wide so each event will show the same gateways. We are looking to see if we can make it do this on a per event basis, but this hasn’t been resolved yet.

3) Right now, no as the user isn’t generated until further in the registration. This will change in the future as we will be storing their details earlier. While we may not create a system like you are suggesting, it should be possible to make something via custom development.
