Hi, We have been looking at this plug in for a project/event. So there are a couple of questions i would like to clear before purchase and maybe some guidance as to what License is better suited for us, so i will try to keep it short: – Works with genesis framework? Licence type info – We want the user to register several fields (title, name, phone, twitter account, attendance physical or via streaming, etc) I think that is about it. Please let me know about this and thanks! |

Hi, Thanks for your interest in Event Espresso. We currently have two core versions: EE3 and EE4. For your information here is a list of the main differences: https://eventespresso.com/differences-ee4-ee3/ You can also test drive EE4 here: http://demoee.org
The plugin will work with any well made theme that adheres to the WordPress coding guidelines, Genesis as a framework is one of those.
Event Espresso comes with form functionality for basic form inputs. We do NOT have any form of conditional logic.
All attendees are logged and can be exported. Both EE versions also have a MailChimp addon should you wish to add people to a list there.
No, we do not currently have an addon like that. Maybe in the future.
Free events/tickets can be created yes. Attendees still have to register and fill out their details but are not charged. Licence Questions Please note the different licences merely provide different numbers of bundled plugins and number of site uses. The core plugin is the same for each licence.
Custom questions are part of the core plugin so any licence.
You can export data, but we also have a MailChimp addon that will send attendee data (name/email) straight to MailChimp when they register. EE3 Business or Developer licence come with this addon. It can also be bought separately if you decide to use EE3 Personal. EE4 Everything licence includes the EE4 MailChimp addon. Any other licence will require the addon to be purchased separately.
This is a ticket. In which case you will need the Ticketing addon. EE3 Developer comes with this addon or it can be bought separately. EE4’s Ticketing addon is still in Beta so not available for purchase, but is accessible if you buy the EE4 Everything licence.
Front end or Admin, either work, though personally I recommend doing it from the front end in case payment needs to be taken. I hope that helps, please let us know if you have any other questions. |
