Hi

I’m about to send out an email campaign via Mailchimp. The mailchimp list includes the recipients first and last name and email address. Is it possible to pre-populate these fields in EE4 when the user clicks on the link/button in their email.

I’m thinking of something like:

http://mysite/bookings/myevent?firstname=joe&lastname=smith&email=test@me.net

I saw an example for promo code which required a custom function https://eventespresso.com/topic/pre-populate-promo-codes-in-embedded-url/ but I was wonder for these common fields if there was anything already available (plus I’m not a PHP coder)?

Regards

John.

Hi John,

I don’t think it is, because they would need to select the number of tickets first.

If you could get around that then you could create some custom javascript that does it.

The code you linked to was for EE3 and modified a specific function, but I can’t see anything like that in EE4.
