php memory limit

Hi,
I,ve got the following:
Event Espresso System Status shows that I have only 40Mb memory limit but when I check my site php.ini file I can see that it set to 256Mb.
It’s not clear for me what should I change or how should I ask my server provider?

Hi,

You can set it in the wp-config.php file http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP
