Payment Status – automatic update

Hi, this is a pretty straightforward question (apologies if it’s in the docs, but I couldn’t find it) – if an attendee pays online (through PayPal or credit card), is their payment status automatically updated to ‘paid’ in the EE dashboard, or does the event vendor have to manually go in and update the payment status?

Hi Angela,

If the payment is made by a gateway like PayPal, then yes the status should be updated to Completed.

The only times it wont is when using an offline gateway such as Invoice, then it is up to the admin to update the attendees accordingly.
