There are a number of features that would really make this software go over the top – some easy ones have been asked here for 7+ years. I wanted to try and summarize those requests into 1 ticket. We had 4 different ticketed registrations for 1 huge event with almost 400 people and had a variety of difficulties that could be easily solved we feel.
1. Ability to show and sort by LAST NAME in the App. This is a VERY common method of identifying registrants.
2. Show a custom field such as Business/Company name or 1 identified custom field in the registration app. Large events can have many companies attending – and not having that information readily available in the registration process adds workload to then go look at paper lists to identify this important information.
3. Ability to change the size of the LEFT check in pain as it cuts off names and since it only shows first-last – you can’t see a full last name in the LEFT panel.
4. Better registration pages. The pages where you show and select your “tickets” isn’t visible to be edited. There are many times where instructions should be displayed on these pages – or “steps of the process” for less techy folks – but these pages are not made easily visible for editing or adding important information.
5. The ability for the system to check and see if the name of the registration already exists and to stop making duplicate registrant contact records. When you have to adjust things in the backend and are shown multiple contact records of the same person – this really causes confusion. OR give a way to “merge” them into 1 to reduce clutter and increase efficiency.
