I’m wondering if there are plans to implement a more robust sales tax solution. As we host events in different provinces it would be great if we could set the tax rate that would apply to all ticket types for the event’s location.
Currently we would have to use price modifiers to add the different tax rates for each region. Unfortunately these don’t show up nicely on the receipts as it is included in the ticket price instead of showing the pre-tax price.
We have created our own custom plugin with help from this support forum but this isn’t very versatile as we have to modify the plugin to handle any tax changes. We’ve also discovered that these custom taxes don’t get applied when using the Attendee Mover addon which creates a new set of problems.
Is there a fully formed tax implementation on the horizon?
