We are a small arthouse-cinema thinking of using your Plugin on our new website … but before purchasing it I was wondering if an event can have multiple showtimes (not recurring with a definable frequency) such as Saturday @ 2pm, Sunday @ 7pm and Monday @ 5pm? Or would we have to create a single event for every date/time?

And am I right assuming that the events can be categorized so that we can market them on the home page seperately (i.e. the movies seperated from the concerts etc.)?

And last but not least: can other Features (such as ticketing etc.) be blocked … at least as Long as they’re not used?

Brgds,

Hi,

If you use EE4 then yes that’s very easy to do, EE3 also allows multiple tickets per event but you will need the Multiple Event Registration (add to cart) add on if you wish users to be able to select more than one ticket type.

Events can be categorized yes, and using shortcodes you can separate events by category.

“And last but not least: can other Features (such as ticketing etc.) be blocked … at least as Long as they’re not used?”

It depends on the feature that you want to be blocked and how. For example you can disable the registration form/ticket selector for events, on a per event basis.

If you have some specific features in mind I can clarify this for you

EE3 and EE4 are different plugins and currently have different features so please check this article:https://eventespresso.com/differences-ee4-ee3/

YOu can also test drive EE4 over at http://demoee.org
