I have entered event venue address info but this doesn’t appear on the entry display. I have “Display addresses in the event listings?” set to “Yes” under Template Settings. How can I get this to show up?
Note that this event is set to not display the registration form (only some events require registration).
The information is entered in “Advanced Options” under “Additional Event / Venue Information”. I don’t see a Venue Manager anywhere in the event content area or in the sidebar.
Head over to the General Settings and look for the Use Venue Manager option, set it to yes and hit save. After that you may need to refresh your page (just click another option like Event Overview) and the Venue Manager will appear in the menu list. There you can add venues, which can then be added in individual events.
The only thing is, not all information entered in the Venue Manger displays with the event. If a URL is entered, and an image is set for the venue, shouldn’t this show up somewhere? I expected this to show up with the address info, but it doesn’t appear to be anywhere except in the Venue Manger admin. Thanks for any insight!
Well that is weird, it should work. I checked an older version and it works just fine, so something must of changed. We have bumped up security in some areas and I think its been tightened too much and is stripping out html unnecessarily. I will raise a developer ticket to look into this.
