I am considering building a WP site that uses MemberMouse as a member portal. I am looking into using Event Espresso for handling our events. I need it to do several things and I am just confirming whether that is possible.
1) I need non-members to be able to buy tickets to our events for a fee.
2) I need the ability for members (at certain levels) to be able to obtain tickets for free. The lower-level members still need to purchase tickets for a fee.
Please let me know if this is possible. Hopefully that explains the situation well enough.
EE4 can handle this for you with the WP User Integration addon.
When this addon is activated, each ticket can be restricted via user capabilities.
For example, you set up an event with two tickets:
VIP Members Only
Members and Visitors
Something like that anyway, and then you give the VIP Members Only ticket the capability of VIP. So long as the VIP Members role also has that capability, only they can access that ticket.
This means that you can granularly provide access to tickets based on user capabilities.
