Hi There,
I have a few events where non-members (not logged in) pay a fee to attend, and members of the site who are logged in are able to attend an event for free. However, I’d like to limit each member to one free ticket per account for each event. Is there a way to make the event disappear or the signup ability closed for any member that has already registered for an event already?

Hi,
There isn’t a way to do that with the default plugin, it would have to be custom coded.
I made something a while back that displays a message if the user has already booked, while not exactly what you need it may be useful https://gist.github.com/Apina/f11b5ce2db10f7b3bb93
Please note that that code is fairly old and unsupported, it may well require tweaking before it works with current versions and it only works with EE3. It is designed to be used as a spring board for you or your developer to work from.
