I am looking for a solution to manage events tickets for a group of institutions in Portugal, and some question I could not found an answer. As a background, in Portugal the invoice must be sent by a software authorised for that purpose, therefore, no automatic invoice can be made not using such software. My questions are:
– Can the system be configured so the invoice is manual sent to the attendee? In this way I can send later the invoice with the data provided. Can I customise so the attendee does not receive an “invoice” from your system?
– Can your system use a gateway to get the invoice and send it? Actually some companies in Portugal provide API to allow automatic invoice generation, using it would be great.
– If yes, can the information be configured event base? To allow setting different institutions data.
– If not, can I access the data of the attendees tickets in other plugin to process the invoices?
Another final question. Can a non profit outside USA ask your support? What data should we provide?
First off I want to clarify regarding invoices: there are invoices and the invoice gateway.
Invoices are created dynamically and are not marked on the emails or payment page, but can be sent out manually via the admin.
If you want to user to PAY by invoice, then the invoice gateway does have a link to the invoice to download. The only way to change that is it modify the gateway template code.

Only if a custom gateway is created. As to the rest, anything is possible but you would certainly need to have a level of customisation done to the plugin, either direct to it or potentially as a separate plugin, it depends on whether the functions needed are pluggable or if there are hooks in the right places for what you need.
